Has a nice handle to lift the luggage. It will hold the weight on the screen so you don’t have to hold the luggage up while trying to read the screen. Light weight so you can throw it into your suitcase to check the weight of each suitcase before each flight in order to balance the load for staying under 50 pounds.

Brought this scale in preparation for my family’s trip to the Caribbean. I was concerned with the potential of high airline baggage fees because it was a party of four with at least four check-in pieces. Popped the batteries in and changed from kg to lb and the scale performed flawlessly. As a test I weighted a 20lb dumbell with it and the readings was dead-on. I took it with me and now it will be with me wherever I travel

Con: Free would have been good. Just kidding.
Other thoughts: My first portable scale. Its really neat. Had to use a bathroom scale before which was not always easy.
